Skye is the definition of what we aim for in our Australian Shepherds. She has a nice balance with incredible personality and athletic ability. Incredibly smart, athletic, natural herding sense, playful, but also has an off switch. She is loyal, LOVES kids and takes SUCH good care of them, easy going while also attentive and wants to please.
She loves to help herd the cattle or even help round up the occasional stray chicken, but also will leave our free range chickens alone until asked to help. She loves to hunt the occasional rat or rabbit in the hay stacks. Skye LOVES to jump and would excel in Frisbee and Agility if given the chance. Very athletic and talented, but also has an off switch. I would say she is medium drive. Skye has a wonderful personality and loves kids ! Skye takes such good care of my toddler & baby!
Skye has offspring that are competing and earning AKC titles in Fast CAT, Caninc Good Citizen (CGC), Trick Dog (TNK), and Barn Hunt, as well as a couple in training to be therapy dogs. She has a select few daughters that are already producing pups that are earning AKC titles in Fast CAT, Caninc Good Citizen (CGC), Advanced Trick Dog, and more!
